At Good Faith Compensation and Pension Consultants (GFCAPC), we provide educational consultations to help Veterans better understand the VA disability claims process. Our goal is to empower you with the information and resources needed to confidently manage your own claim.
Our consultation services include:
- Comprehensive Medical Record Review to identify potential service-connected conditions and discuss possible claim opportunities.
- Claim Denial Review to help you better understand the reasons for a VA decision and identify areas that may warrant further attention.
- Lay Statement Guidance by assisting you in developing clear, accurate personal statements that describe your symptoms, service history, and how your conditions affect your daily life.
- Claim Strategy Education to explain the different types of VA disability claims, including:
- Direct Service Connection
- Secondary Service Connection
- Aggravation Claims
- Toxic Exposure Claims
- Presumptive Conditions

- Educational Filing Guidance by providing step-by-step instructions and resources that explain how Veterans can submit specific types of claims to the VA.

Please note: GFCAPC provides educational consulting services only. We do not file claims, act as legal representatives, or provide legal advice. Veterans remain in full control of submitting and managing their own VA disability claims.

Disclosure 1: No Guarantee of Benefits
Good Faith Compensation and Pension Consultants (GFCAPC) provides educational consultation services designed to help Veterans better understand the VA disability claims process. While we strive to provide accurate information and guidance, we cannot guarantee any specific outcome, disability rating, or VA benefits award.
VA disability decisions are made solely by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs based on the evidence of record, applicable laws and regulations, the findings of any Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination, medical opinions regarding service connection (nexus), and the decision of the assigned VA rating specialist.
Our role is to educate and assist you in understanding the claims process so you can make informed decisions regarding your claim.
Disclosure 2: Conflict of Interest
To maintain professional and ethical standards, I cannot perform a VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination for anyone who has received consultation services from me through Good Faith Compensation and Pension Consultants.
If the VA schedules your C&P examination with me, you must notify the scheduling office that we have an existing consulting relationship and request to be rescheduled with a different examiner.
If you arrive for a C&P examination assigned to me and I recognize a conflict of interest, I will be required to cancel the examination and notify the appropriate scheduling personnel so that your examination can be reassigned to another qualified examiner.
