Meet Freda McKelvey, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
From the Founder,
My name is Freda McKelvey. I have worked as a nurse for over 40 years in different capacities. Over the last 20 years, I have worked as a Family
Nurse Practitioner. My nursing experience includes Med/Surg, Endoscopy, Kidney Transplantation, Surgery, Cardiology, Physician house calls, Internal Medicine, Adult Medicine, and Geriatrics. My latest role has been working as a compensation and pension examiner for Veterans. By
far, this has been the most rewarding job that I have ever had. I am grateful and thankful to know that there are
individuals who would put their lives on the line for people that they do not know.
I have never served, but I am the proud mother of a
Veteran. My son, Master Sergeant DeAdrian Lamont
McKelvey. He served 24 years in the US Army, with tours
in Iraq and Afghanistan. Before retiring from the Army, he
spent his last 5 years working with NATO.
As someone who values service, integrity, and accountability, I founded this consulting business to provide veterans with clear, personalized guidance as they navigate the often complex Compensation & Pension (C&P) process. I understand how overwhelming the system can be, and I'm committed to helping clients organize their medical evidence, understand the purpose of C&P examinations, and prepare with confidence.
I believe every veteran deserves honest information, respectful support, and responsive communication. My approach is educational and client-focused, ensuring veterans understand what to expect while filing claims.
While I cannot guarantee the outcome of any VA claim or
examination, I am dedicated to providing knowledgeable guidance and individualized support to help veterans present their information as clearly and accurately as possible.
